0The American Legion, Post 17, has teamed up with the RACE4WARRIORS nonprofit to build a Veteran’s Memorial, IN THE FIRST CITY, IN THE FIRST STATE, BECAUSE VETERANS COME FIRST.

The centerpiece of the memorial is a beautiful obelisk, which was built by the 512^th Maintenance Squadron, Dover AFB, to honor our middle east veterans. There are over 7,130 dog tags within the obelisk. EACH DOG TAG REPRESENTS A VETERAN WHO HAS GIVEN THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE WHILE SERVING IN THE MIDDLE EAST. Circling the obelisk will be laser engrave bricks representing all Veterans WHO HAVE SERVICED ALL AROUND THE GLOBE SINCE WWI! They are to honor people who have passed and still with us today. 

Purchasing a brick will gain you a place in history. Bricks are not purchased for individual use (you can't take the brick home. It stays with the memorial).  We will be ordering the bricks periodically throughout the year.  Order yours today.
